Cham Refugees Community first opened its doors to serve the ethnic Cham population from Vietnam and Cambodia more than 30 years ago. Today, it is a non-profit agency serving the local Muslim refugee and immigrant communities in Seattle and the surrounding areas by providing family and community-focused services. Annually, the organization sees more than 1600 individuals and families in Seattle and South King County, who utilizes our facility and services.

Assalamualaikum, Homework help is back at CRC starting next Wednesday February 5th for our scholars. We’re providing afterschool care for studies 3rd grade & up . We will provide light snacks and have volunteers coming by. Also looking for volunteers so if any highschoolers need service hours come on by! Inshallah we hope to see our youth come with homework.

CRC Seattle x Moonlight Humanity Foundation invites you to a night with guests Shaykh Dr. Basiroon Abdullah from Vietnam and Dr. Kop Roly from Cambodia on Feb 15, 2025.
When: February 15 after maghrib
Where: CRC Seattle/Masjid Jamiul Muslimeen - 5945 39th Ave South, Seattle, WA
Dr. Basiroon Abdullah is a PHD in Arabic Linguistics from the University of Madinah, and currently serves as an Imam in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Dr. Kop Roly is Medical PHD from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and currently serving Under the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Environment of Cambodia.
Moonlight Humanity https://moonlighthumanity.org/ will also be sharing their humanitarian work with displaced indigenous communities in areas across the globe to help with education and access to clean water and many work relief work.
Talk will be in Cham and English as applicable.
Food and dinner will be provided.

One of the Cham elders, Hjh Aminah - the aunt of former CRC Presidents Basari and Asari Mohamath, has recently passed away in Surrey, Canada.
The family wanted to share details of the janazah prayers on Tuesday, January 21 in Surrey, Canada for those able to join.
