Cham Refugees Community first opened its doors to serve the ethnic Cham population from Vietnam and Cambodia more than 30 years ago. Today, it is a non-profit agency serving the local Muslim refugee and immigrant communities in Seattle and the surrounding areas by providing family and community-focused services. Annually, the organization sees more than 1600 individuals and families in Seattle and South King County, who utilizes our facility and services.

Janazah prayer for him will be tomorrow, Tuesday, April 22nd, after Dhuhr at Abubakr Masjid inshaAllah. Burial will take place at House of Mercy. May Allah forgive him and have mercy upon him.

Every woman deserves to feel safe and confident. Join in on a women’s self-defense workshop designed to equip you with essential skills for any situation. Starting on Sunday for the youth (ages 9-15) on April 13th from 2-4pm and Saturday for adults (ages 16+) on April 19th from 3-5pm at South Seattle Women’s Fitness.

One of the elders in the community recently passed away last night, Hjh Mariyah Ali, the aunt of former CRC President Mohamad Sales. She was about 83 years old, and was currently visiting the US from Vietnam.
The janazah prayer will be TODAY at Abu Bakr Islamic Center in Tukwila after Zuhr.
The burial will be at House of Mercy in Covington.
May Allah have mercy on her and forgive her and grant her into Jannah.
